Lately Margo and I have been hearing quite a bit of surprise from people when we hand out flyers or speak of our upcoming events.
For some reason many of you believed that we closed already.
Well, DARK SPARLE IS NOT DEAD!
Maybe it's all the black...hmm?

Dark Sparkle is MONTHLY at the CAFE DU NORD.
Dark Sparkle radio is ON THE AIR.
Dark Sparkle has dates scheduled through JANUARY 2007!
We never closed!
We've been open a whopping 7+ years!
Please, SPREAD THE WORD. We need all of the support that we can get!
In related news, while we may be booked for the rest of the year, we've already been advised by the Cafe Du Nord that they want to see a definite increase in numbers for us to continue booking there in the future.
No, we're not doing badly. Realize however that the Cafe Du Nord is a LIVE venue. We're pretty much it when it comes to night clubs, so they're used to live show numbers and revenue. We don't charge 10+ bucks a head and maybe we don't have the immediacy of say a live show in people's minds.
If a band you like is in town you HAVE to go for fear of missing them.
Well folks, let's get some immediacy in your minds because if we don't have your support, WE won't be around much longer either.
It's the nature of the club beast...and we want to be around for a long time to come.
