An August Affair

On Friday, August 11, 2006, at an underground club of great renown, two unique visions will come together for an evening of dark elegance and sophisticated cocktailiana.

Headlined by Dark Sparkle which brings its special blend of now and then to the main room with an assist of dark/sexy music on the theater dance floor from the DJs of sinFUSION (Absinthe Party, Naughty, Slick), this aims to be an august affair to remember – any absinthe-induced memory loss notwithstanding.

Hosting both a main cocktail bar and a specialty absinthe bar (all absinthes imported from Europe), our favorite "undisclosed location" also features a roof deck and a warren of rooms through which to meander with the potential for surprises around every corner. And did we mention we'll be going late?

So dress up in your finest and come down for the cocktail party of the season! Two kinds of music and a menu of beverages both old and new in a space that lends itself to a unique environment of civilized conviviality – a heady concoction we’ll simply call “An August Affair.”
